The sand desert surrounding trans-polar village Kuzomen in the Kola Peninsula serves a confirmation to this opinion. The researchers from the Polar & Alpine Botanical Garden-Institute have found out the reasons why the sand desert appeared at this particular place and have come to the conclusion that human beings were to blame.
