A group of neurophysiologists from the Institute of Higher Nervous Activity and Neurophysiology (Russian Academy of Sciences) has investigated experimental models of Parkinson’s disease on animals and came to the conclusion that none of them can fully imitate all aspects of this disease. The investigation has been performed under sponsorship of the grant of the RAS Presidium Program “Abstract Sciences for Medicine” and the grant of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
